Artist Jeroen Spijker
The Anti Fraud Award has been designed and made by the famous artist Jeroen Spijker. In the below video he explains his design.
The Anti Fraud Award originates from the conception of alertness. It is a human eye with slight characteristics of a hawk’s eye. The hawk is circling around to get a clear overview. The award has a front side and a back side. You need eyes in the back of your head to be able to see everything. That is why it is a left and a right eye. You need to have both eyes open. It also has the meaning not to turn a blind eye, but to communicate from a moral compass, ask questions, and try to turn the tide.
